Instashop joins the global network of Endeavor, a non-profit organisation supporting high-impact entrepreneurship in 33 countries. The companies were selected during Endeavor’s Global 86th International Selection Panel, held in Cairo on the 13th – 15th of March.
Instashop, represented by founder and CEO John Tsioris, is one of the leading e- grocery platforms in the Gulf region. Founded in Dubai in 2015, InstaShop has quickly scaled and has partnered with over 400 local supermarkets and chains, including some big retailers of the region such as Zoom, AlMaya, Union Coop and Spar. With more than 120k active users, InstaShop is shaping the UAE grocery delivery market and is currently operates also in Egypt, Lebanon and Bahrain.
At this ISP, the culmination of a rigorous entrepreneurs’ selection process locally and internationally, Endeavor selected 15 high-impact entrepreneurs leading 12 companies from 9 countries. Endeavor now supports 1,840 entrepreneurs leading 1,153 companies in 34 markets around the world, that are given strategic advice and other services according to their needs from Endeavor’s mentors and advisors, have access to its international network and investors. This process helps them further grow their business, create jobs and become role models. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have created more than 1,500,000 jobs and in 2017 they generated over $15 billion in revenues.
The Endeavor Greece network includes: Hellas Direct, Papadimitriou, HotelBrain, ERGON, Brainbox, Think Digital Group, Green Cola, blueground, FREZYDERM, Sychem, Workable, CHB, Konva, Yodiwo, Raymetrics, Centaur Analytics, Metamaterial Technologies Inc., Dust + Cream, OSeven, Pollfish and Softomotive.
In April, the ISP will be hosted in Madrid.
